Univ golfers were invited to join us for the USPGA Spring Meeting at Beaconsfield Golf Club on 14 May.

Our generous host, Peter Button (1975, Maths), commented on the day: “21 Alumni joined which we think is a record turnout for this event. In excellent weather, the competition was intense and Tim Low won with a stableford score of 38 points followed by David Laycock and Stephen Turnbull. USPGA debutant Nicolas Beedle won the longest drive prize with a huge effort of 290 yards and Stephen Turnbull hit his iron from 150 yards to 10 feet from the pin to win the nearest the pin competition.”
