On Sunday, 30 October, Univ entered two boats into the W4+ division at Upper Thames Autumn Head in Henley. Both crews were in the same bands as university level crews, including OUWBC. The “A” crew completed the 3km course in 14mins 04sec, and the “B” crew in 15mins 27secs. Upper Thames Autumn Head was the first head race of the season, and despite the windy conditions, was a strong start to the year for the club. We now look forward to Fours Head, which will be raced on the Tideway, on 19 November.
