Univ’s 775 Giving Day

Univ Radcliffe QuadDuring this special year, we are highlighting and celebrating Univ’s people, past and present. This includes the many different parts of our extraordinary College community: Old Members, current students, staff, Fellows, parents and friends. It is our people that make the Univ community so exceptional, and we would like to celebrate being a part of it with you.

Over 36 hours from 30 April until 1 May we will be sharing information and heartfelt messages with you from some of Univ’s students, staff and Old Members about what Univ means to them.

Please help us to support our current students by providing them with the very best experience possible at Univ and Oxford.

The countdown to Giving Day has begun. By helping us to raise funds for important parts of College and student life, you will be continuing the Univ tradition of supporting the next generation and enhancing our community. This is why we are using the hashtag #UnivForUniv on social media – because we know how strongly this community feels about supporting each other.

The four funds that we are raising money for are:

  • Area of Greatest Need
  • Music at Univ
  • Univ Boat Club
  • Student Support

What does Univ mean to you? What do you remember most from your time with us? The teaching and tutorials, the extracurricular activities, music, boating, sports, or was it the wonderful location, buildings, and sense of community?

A Giving Day is an opportunity to participate and donate, to help support Univ’s endeavours to provide the very best for students and continue to support them in achieving academic excellence. We are organising this Giving Day to encourage our wide and geographically dispersed alumni to get involved and do what you can to support your College. We hope you will be interested and want to take part.

You can follow us on social media and find out more on our Giving Day page.
