In this new series we highlight audio and video interviews with, and profiles on, a wide range of Univ OMs. We start with Lord Colin Moynihan (1974, PPE), Dr Festus Mogae (1965, PPE) and Amanda Brookfield (1979, English).
Lord Colin Moynihan (1974, PPE) won a silver medal at the 1980 Olympics coxing the British men’s rowing VIII, despite dealing with a broken rudder. He served as chairman of the British Olympic Association from 2005-2012.

President Dr Festus Mogae (1965, PPE) served as the third President of Botswana from 1998 to 2009. He founded and is currently Chairperson of the Champions for an AIDS-Free Generation and has been a Trustee of the Rhodes Trust since 2010.

Amanda Brookfield (1979, English), bestselling author, was the first Visitor in the Creative Arts at Univ in 2018. Her many novels include Relative Love, The Simple Rules of Love, Before I Knew You, and Good Girls, which reached the final shortlist of the People’s Book Prize.
