Clodagh Holmes (2018, Medicine) was named Woman of the Match at this year’s Varsity rugby match held on Saturday 25 March at Twickenham Stadium. Clodagh scored four tries, leading the Oxford women’s team to victory for the first time since 2016.

Clodagh started playing rugby in 2019 with Univ WRFC before starting to train with the University squad in Trinity term of her first year. She was named “Player of the Match” in her first-ever Blues match, after scoring two tries. Playing in this year’s Varsity match won Clodagh her fourth Blue.
