Oxford Open Doors 2019
Thank you to everyone who visited College on Sunday 15 September as part of the Oxford Open Doors weekend.
Enjoying both the brilliant sunshine of the Quads and tranquil shade of the Fellows’ Garden almost 2,000 visitors passed through the Lodge to follow our Treasure Trail, enjoy cream teas in Hall, explore the Chapel or marvel at the iconic Shelley Memorial.
With 2019 marking the 40th anniversary of the arrival of the first women students at College, our Library hosted packed tours of the very special “Women at Univ” exhibition throughout the day.
Amongst those that joined us for the day were Univ OMs David Ferguson (1990, Maths) and Katharine Ferguson (née Shaw, 1989, Law), returning to Oxford in part to celebrate their silver wedding anniversary.
Plans are already afoot for Oxford Open Doors 2020, when we look forward to welcoming everyone back through the gates of Univ to explore and enjoy College once more.
