Univ is a safe environment to live, work and study in and with your help it can remain that way.

If you see any potentially harmful but avoidable situations please tell us. so that we can act.

Don’t Walk By is a campaign to keep everybody safe while at University College. If you see someone not working safely speak to them or their line supervisor. If you see something that looks unsafe or may be an accident waiting to happen, don’t walk by, report it.

If you are in any doubt as to who to report it to please come to the lodge and speak to the duty porter or fill out a form. Alternately you can email us at dontwalkby@univ.ox.ac.uk call us on 01865 276602 or complete the online form via the Univ Intranet.

University College wants to encourage all staff and students to adopt this policy as a part of their daily routine. Don’t be discouraged from reporting by the thought that someone has already reported the matter. It’s better that several reports are made than no reports and accidents happening. If in any doubt then please speak to either your supervisor or a Lodge porter.
