The Chapel was filled with sound again on Sunday, 19 May, with former members of the Chapel Choir reliving old times by joining the current choir for Evensong. With music by Stanford, Bairstow, Noble, and Cecilia MacDowall, the combined sound of the singers was truly stirring.

It was wonderful to see old members from the last 60 years join in and most were able to stay and dine afterwards at one of the noisiest Formal Halls of the year.

It is hoped this event will be an annual occurrence, so if you are an old choir member who didn’t get an invitation, or wasn’t able to come this year, then do get in touch to register your interest. Please contact Julie.Boyle@univ.ox.ac.uk
