Announcing Oxford Open Doors 2024
On Sunday 15 September, in collaboration with the Oxford Preservation Trust, Univ will be taking part in Oxford Open Doors, which sees many of Oxford’s historic and iconic buildings opened to the public.
From 10am until 4pm, the oldest college in Oxford opens its gates and offers you the opportunity to visit its beautiful quads and selected buildings, including the Shelley Memorial, the Hall and the Chapel, with its famed Abraham van Linge windows. The College Librarian and Head Porter will be leading tours of the College at 10.30am, 11.30am, 1.30pm and 2.30pm and tours of the gardens at 10.30am, 11.15am and 12pm. There will also be a plant sale in the Master’s Gardens, and cream teas and Pimms will be available throughout the day in the Hall.
Take a look at the regular Treasure Features that we publish or read more about our history, buildings and gardens before your visit. Full details of all the weekend’s activities across all Open Doors venues can be found at oxfordpreservation.org.uk
Entry to Univ is free throughout the day and you can find out more in our downloadable Open Doors Visitors’ Guide.
We look forward to meeting you all at Oxford Open Doors on Sunday 15 September.
Please note: Photography and filming for website, social media and marketing use may be taking place at Univ during Oxford Open Doors. If you would prefer not to be photographed / filmed, please speak to a member of staff on the day.
