On Saturday, 14 September, a group of Univ Old Members gathered for an inaugural lunch at the Union League Cafe in New Haven, Connecticut. The lunch was a warm and lively occasion, with six Old Members enjoying thoughtful conversation and a shared love for Univ.

Bob Jaeger (1965, BPhil Philosophy), who organised the event, shared his thoughts: “Six of us had a very jolly lunch. We’re unusually intelligent and distinguished group! We had a room to ourselves, which made for easy and comfortable conversation. We discussed Univ, among other topics, and are already planning to meet again. If you haven’t responded yet, we’d love to have you join us next time!”

The group hopes to expand and welcome more Univ Old Members to future gatherings.
