Univ is considering joining with other colleges and the University in trialling arrangements with a cargo bike courier service, which will provide a “final mile” service for parcel delivery for most parcels delivered to College.

This service would be entirely free to all users (staff and students) and would contribute enormously towards the reduction in vehicle couriers from the city streets, positively impacting both emissions and the vision zero commitments to safety on the city’s roads.

There remains a great deal of discussion to be had on the details ahead of a proposed trial in Michaelmas Term and input from our Univ family will be key in shaping our decision-making process.
