Oxford Town & Gown 2022

Team Univ 2018

On Sunday 8 May 2022, Univ will be entering a college team to take part in the Oxford Town and Gown 10k. The award-winning event takes place on a flat and scenic route around the city centre and University Parks.

An impressive 108 students, staff, friends, and alumni ran in 2019, winning College the coveted “Largest Team Trophy” and raising £480 for Muscular Dystrophy UK in the process. In 2020 the event was cancelled due to Covid, and in 2021 Univ did not enter a team but this year we could try meet the challenge again!

The College will generously be providing Team Univ running shirts for those who enter the race (although we do ask that previous participants please wear their existing shirt). All runners (and non-runners!) are welcome to join the team, from eager athletes to those just beginning to build up their fitness. Members of Team Univ, together with family and friends, will also be invited to have Brunch in College after the race.

Registration fee this year is £30 + £2.00 booking fee.

When you go to checkout (in the link below), it will ask you if you wish to join an existing group. In the search box, you will find “Team Univ” already set up. Type this in the box to join our team and press submit. Register for Team Univ here.

Once you have registered please email Joanne.Lavender@univ.ox.ac.uk to let her know the following:

• Full name
• Email address
• Race registration number
• T-shirt size
• Number of people you would like to attend the post-race brunch (including yourself)
