Professor Joe Moshenska, Beaverbrook and Bouverie Fellow and Praelector in English, has written a new book, Making Darkness Light: The Lives and Times of John Milton, the launch of which will take place at Univ on 18 October.

From 6-8pm Joe will read from the book, and will then discuss it with Bart Van Es, author of the Costa Prize-winning book The Cut Out Girl. The conversation will be chaired by Marion Turner, author of Chaucer: A European Life.

The launch event will take place in the marquees in the Fellows’ Garden and will be followed by a Q&A and drinks reception.
