Oxford-Berman Studentship in Physics (Physics Dept)

A fully-funded Oxford-Berman-Physics Studentship is available to an outstanding candidate who is accepted onto a DPhil Programme in the Department of Physics for 2017 entry.  The studentship will offer 3 years' full funding (with the possibility of a further extension of six months) in partnership with the Dept of Physics' annual studentship funding competition.  The studentship is open to any nationality and does not require an explicit application to the college (please apply for graduate entry to the Physics Dept using the details outlined at http://www2.physics.ox.ac.uk/study-here/postgraduates ). The candidate awarded this studentship will become a member of University College.  The next online application deadline is noon on 20 January 2017, although applicants to the March 2017 application deadline may also be considered if the award is still vacant by that date.

Oxford-Ashton Studentship in Engineering (Dept of Engineering Science)

A fully-funded Oxford-Ashton-Engineering Studentship is available to an outstanding candidate who is accepted onto a DPhil Programme in the Department of Engineering for 2017 entry. Oxford-Radcliffe BBSRC Interdisciplinary Bioscience Doctoral Training Partnership Studentship (MPLS and MSD Divisions)

A fully-funded Oxford-Radcliffe Studentship is available to an outstanding candidate who is accepted onto the BBSRC Interdisciplinary Bioscience Doctoral Training Programme.  The studentship will offer 4 years' full funding in partnership with the annual BBSRC DTP studentship funding competition.  The studentship is open to any nationality and does not require an explicit application to the college (please apply to the DTP using the details outlined at http://www.biodtp.ox.ac.uk).  The candidate awarded this studentship will become a member of University College.  The online application deadlines of noon on 18 November 2016 and 20 January 2017 are the main deadlines for applications to be considerd for this studentship.

2 Oxford-Radcliffe Studentships in Earth Sciences (Dept of Earth Sciences)

Two fully-funded Oxford-Radcliffe Studentships are available to outstanding candidates who apply to the Dept of Earth Sciences or the DTP in Environmental Research for entry in 2016. 4 years’ full funding is available in partnership with the Department’s and DTP’s annual studentship funding competition. The studentships are open to any nationality and do not require an additional explicit application (although when making their online Oxford application candidates must either list University College as their preferred college, or be willing to migrate colleges to take up the award). Overseas applicants are requested to apply to the DPhil in Earth Sciences. Their application will be forwarded to the DTP if it is nominated by the Department. The online application deadline is noon on 22 January 2016, and the award will cover living costs and all fees.
