Offering a beautiful historical setting, iconic architecture and great food, dining at University College is always a memorable experience.

Our Chefs produce delicious and imaginative, seasonal menus with an emphasis on fresh ingredients, sustainable and sourced locally whenever possible.

The Alington Room is perfect for smaller gatherings, where diners are made to feel comfortable and relaxed, whilst the Hall is traditional with its wooden benches, beamed ceiling, portraits and stained glass windows. It has provided many abiding memories of fine dining, in congenial company.

“Please pass my gratitude to the Head Chef, for accommodating the last minute requests and for the delicious meal, the Deputy Governor said it was the best Lamb he ever had!”
