Conference Hire

Univ welcomes residential conferences during the vacations and non-residential meetings during term. 

Our facilities for residential conferences include 200 standard study bedrooms, our 17th century Hall, bar, several meeting rooms, the largest of which accommodates up to 90 people and the use of our gardens. Our non-residential meeting facilities are ideally suited to groups of between 12 and 30 people. Clients are also able to book the Clubroom, a unique venue for meetings, in the iconic boat house, overlooking the River Thames.

Charges and bookings

Our list of charges gives an indication of likely cost but organisers may prefer a tailored offering, which we are happy to provide. Enquiries about bookings or show rounds should be made to the Domestic Bursary domestic.bursary@univ.ox.ac.uk

We welcome non-residential conferences, day meetings and training days during term time as well as during vacations. Please contact us for availability.

Conference Oxford

Conference Oxford is a central website for booking residential conferences, day meetings and celebratory dinners at the University of Oxford and its Colleges. The central conference marketing office for the University and Colleges, Conference Oxford provides a one-stop enquiry point for availability for conferences and group bookings at the University of Oxford.

Facing Merton Street this is a perfect room to hold boardroom meetings.

90 High Street Lecture Room 

A first floor lecture room in the heart of the college. Spacious and with abundance of natural light. Perfect for lectures and conferences.

Boathouse Clubroom

Situated on the southern bank of River Thames this award winning building is fully accessible and peaceful with stunning views over the river ideal for away days and team meetings.

Flexible and adaptable to many layouts and requirements. This first floor fully accessible room with overflowing light is a perfect room to hold meetings and receptions.

A comfortable room with north facing views towards Queen’s College and Merton Street to the south. First floor fully equipped room, but not accessible.

Stavertonia

Stavertonia (University College Annexe in Staverton Road) is our off site accommodation annex.

Stavertonia is located in Staverton Road in North Oxford.  It is home to 80 student rooms and also 25 self-contained flats. All the student rooms are on landings with a shared kitchen, toilet and shower facilities. They are normally shared between four or five students.

The annexe has wifi through out, a laundry room with pay-as-you-use washing machines and drying machines, a computer room, a common room with Sky TV and a games console. The grounds are beautiful, a place for relaxation and peace.

Swire Seminar Room 

A versatile room where multiple layouts are possible.Perfect for day meetings and conferences. It is fully accessible and equipped and with abundance of natural light.Situated in a quieter area of the college with access from Merton Street .
